I know it’s been a couple of weeks since we’ve had any posts. We have been busy, well Tom has mostly with finishing up his thesis. We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary on August 6th, so my mom came out to hang out with Ana while we had a little “stay-cation” in San Diego. Here are some pictures of Ana to tie you over.
Our niece and nephew Robert and Jasmine came out for a long weekend to visit with us. This is the first time to San Diego. We took them to a Padres game and spent as much time at the beach as we could. Finally there was a sunny day so we all got to enjoy it. Ana is now really going for the water, before she never noticed it. It’s hard to keep her out.
Ana and I went to New Mexico last weekend. It was her first time flying, and I traveled alone with her. A little difficult juggling all the stuff and trying to let Ana walk around to make her happy. Aunt Cathy, Uncle Terry and Nanny came to visit. We also went into Albuquerque to visit our friend Lindsey who was also in town and saw Grandma Teresa, Uncle Matt, Aunt Valerie and her cousin Mateo. It was our first time seeing Mateo, he is so cute and a sweet baby.
Went for a quick trip to the zoo to renew our membership. Ana is noticing the animals more now. Then we went to our friend Derina’s for some bbq where Ana took a good dive into her coffee table and got her first gash on her eyebrow. She’s fine though…all in all an ok day.
