Tom's birthday present

Sara got me a child seat that attaches to my trusty Schwinn for my birthday. I bought myself some shelving units and trust me when I say my garage is sexy. I just need a shop vise and I'll be in business. Anyhow, I digress. I attached the seat to my bicycle this week and today I took Ana on her first bike ride. It was pretty sweet, except I learned that I should not stand to pedal harder. The center of gravity moved too high and it got dicey for a second. Ana didn't get scared so it all worked out ok.

What does a cat say?

15 Months Old

Ana just hit the 15 month mark.  For those of you keeping track she weighed in at 20lbs. 7oz. and 30in tall.  Here a couple of pictures we took recently…she just got some new Elmo slippers and the first time she wore them she didn’t know what to think.

On Sept. 13th Tom defended his thesis and it went great! Teresa, Jim, David, Matt, Valerie and my mom Gail came out to support him.

Our friends Art and Lisa sent Tom a congratulations balloon bouquet and Ana loved it.

It's been a while...

Yes, yes I know it's been a while since we've posted anything, but for good reason. First our computer has been acting up so had to deal with that and more importantly Tom has been finishing up writing his thesis and getting prepared for his defense on September 13th. Anyway, here are few pictures that we took recently, Ana practicing eating with a spoon and a trip to the playground.
