Today Sara is 36 weeks along and baby Gallegos is one week from being considered full term. Today we visited the obstetrician, who said from now on we are going to have weekly visits and next week Sara will have a pelvic exam to see how the ol' cervix is holding up. We are anxious now and Sara is, obviously and unfortunaltely, dealing with the discomforts of late pregnancy. But just one month to go!!!
We have studied all we can and we can't study no more. We have bought all there is to buy (we think), and we can't buy no more. And now we wait.
I was telling Sara I think it would be awesome if the baby came out and then put on a little hat and grabbed a cane with a resounding " Hello, my baby!.....". I'm not holding my breath though.
Que mas hay? Oh yeah, my sister in law Valerie (Matt) is pregnant. I guess for my mom, this is the jackpot.
Randomly, Ive been thinking about how to re-engineer those tow behind bike child cars and turn it into a sturdy and awesome sidecar. It just goes to show that I need to learn how to weld.
Lastly, and just for laughs here is sara with Archie doing the cat-football Heisman.
