Last night we took Ana to her first Padres game. It was a really nice night and she handled the noise well. Chandler was in town and it was a great game, but of course the Pads blew it in the ninth. Oh well, the Friday Friarworks was a good show.

I stayed home today with Ana, so our big field trip was a brief trip to the hair cutters, which she slept through. Oh well, her loss. Here are the new goodies I promised from our summer 2009 family vacation to Big Bear.

It has been a crazy week for us.  On Monday Sara went back to work, so I stayed home with Ana.  We went out and had a lunch beer then walked around the shopping center to blow time.  All of the local drunks thought she was cute.  I made them keep their dirty hands off.  Tuesday Ana went to daycare for the first time.  Miss Helen seems like she's really great, and both Sara and Ana handled the situation well.  Wednesday I was home again, and Ana and I went to see District 9.  Read up on Apartheid, watch it, and then lets discuss.  Ana really liked going to the movies.  When she fussed I paced balk and forth behind the seats and she always turned her head so that she could see the screen.  We didn't hit the bar on Wednesday.  Thursday it was back to daycare.  My friend Lisa defended her dissertation that afternoon, which was exciting.  She and her husband are NMSU alumni as well, so go Aggies!  Today Sara is at home with Ana for the beginning of the long weekend.  No pictures this time, sorry.  I'll get a movie up soon.
