First time in the pool

We went to David and Denise's hotel to hang out at the pool, it was Ana's first time. She had a great time, I think we have a swimmer on our hands. We also went to a park later. It was great to have Ana hang out with her cousins.

Ana’s 1st Birthday Party

We had Ana’s 1st birthday party on Saturday on Mission Bay.  Bena, Granddad, Grandma Teresa, Papa, Uncle Matt L., David, Denise and the kids and Jason and Taryn were there with us.  We had some bbq, opened presents and had cupcakes.  Thank you to everyone who gave Ana a gift.

Ana started taking her first steps this past week, just a week shy of her first birthday. She's improving day by day.

New place to live

It’s been five days now that we have lived in our new place.  We moved to a duplex a little south of where we were.  We decided to move out of the graduate/family housing now while we could focus our time on it instead of right when Tom would be finishing up and having them kick us out of the housing.  Ana and the cats are liking the new place, lots of things to explore and they seem to like the hard wood floors. Tom is happy that we have a garage.  I am happy that I finally have a washer and dryer, which I’m washing my first load as I’m typing this.

Here is the front of our new place, we have a pretty tree out front that is blooming purple flowers right now.

Our new place is really close to Mission Bay, Ana and I went there the other day and she had fun in the sand at the playground.
