Today we took our first trip to the beach this summer. It was Ana's first trip to the beach. The water was warm and the marine layer was in so nobody got sun burned. It was a fun trip. Ana was probably familiar with the sound of the ocean, because it is one of the sounds we play overnight while she sleeps (along with rain and crickets). She was not afraid as I held her and the waves came in, splashing up to my knees. When I dipped her toes in she seemed perfectly content. Maybe she intuitively knows San Diego girls are supposed to love the beach. Here are some photos:
